About the Role

The Manager, Projects is responsible for ensuring that Engineering and Maintenance is actively managing all aspects of delivering major projects and programs as allocated by the Engineering and Maintenance Senior Management team. 

This position is based in Auckland and may be accepted on a contract or permanent basis.

 

About You 

To be successful you will be able to demonstrate the following essential qualifications and skills: 

Mandatory:

Business degree or diploma or a similar tertiary qualification or substantial industry experience.

• Project Management Qualifications or 5 years + in industrial experience.
• The ability to establish and lead cross functional teams to meet planned results.
• The stature, knowledge, personality and communication skills to rapidly gain credibility with managers, both internally and externally, and to influence key decision makers.
• A leader, who provides direction and coaching, encourages teamwork, inspires confidence and enlists the best performance of colleagues and external resources.
• Comprehensive analytical skills, innovative problem solving and the ability to operate in an ambiguous environment.
• A commitment to on-going maintenance of professional standards and the development of relevant capabilities.
