Position Overview:

The Storesperson provides administration of logistic and material requirements to support the MOB.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

* Administration of all logistic and material records and publications.

* Managing and updating, as required, the logistic tracking system.

* Managing the required data entry of all logistical and material Work Order related information and documents.

* Maintain filing systems for all records and documentation.

* Carry out local purchasing.

* Receive, locate, issue, ship parts and equipment.

* Manages stocktaking.

* Administers sub stores, tool crib and tool control.

* Provide scheduled and unscheduled reports.

* Fly/Travel and work at other main operating bases, deployments in support of operations at remote sites, mobile repair parties and ferry flights.

* Conduct Elementary and Servicing tasks for the CH 149 as trained, qualified and authorized.

* Provide on-job-training to other employees.

* Adhere to polices, procedures and directives established by the Company.

* Enforce policies, procedures and directives established by the Company.

* Attend training for trade and professional development and for qualification, recertification and authorisation purposes.

* Perform other duties as may be required in support of the CH 149 ISSC.

Position Requirements:

* Minimum education level of grade 12, or its equivalent and related training and experience.

* Minimum of three years experience in aircraft material control programs.

* Ability to use general computer programs such as MS Word (word processing), MS Excel (spreadsheets) and MS Outlook (e-mail and time management) and to perform data input/output and report generation using computerized inventory management systems in the performance of the duties.

* Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail and comfortable working to deadlines.

* Thorough knowledge of material control, stocktaking and warehousing.

* Valid NL Class 5 Driver License and the ability to drive vehicles tow tractors and support vehicles.

* Demonstrate a personal commitment to IMP Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies.Continually focusing on your individual safety and the safety of others who may be affected by your work and to fully comply with all Federal Health and Safety Legislation.

* Participate in Continuous Improvement, Lean & 8S activities in your area.

* Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Canadian government security clearances.
