About Your Job
In this role, you will work within the Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) and be responsible for carrying out crew roster maintenance, monitoring and supporting activities to meet operational requirements and situations, either within the Day of Operation or Pre-operational window, as required. You will be working on a 24/7 shift in the IOC and part of your role will be professional liaison and interaction with Flight Crew and Cabin Crew, IOC stakeholders and Flight Operations Management.
Specific accountabilities include:
- Carrying out required modifications to crew rosters using the crew tracking system (AIMS/TOPS) ensuring compliance with applicable QCAA regulations, FTL schemes and company rules
- Notifying crew members of roster changes, including flight delays and cancellations through the appropriate communications tools, to avoid any potential delay
- Amending the crew complement on each flight using the system functionality to ensure correct crew complement requirements are met
- Finalising crew routes in case of flight cancellation or aircraft changes and reflecting the same of the crew roster to ensure legality is achieved
- Allocating crew efficiently to duties using the crew tracking system considering resource availability and operational risk, keeping in mind the department KPIs (Safety, Cost, Crew Satisfaction)
To be effective in this role, you will need a Bachelors degree combined with at least four years of relevant experience. You will need a detailed knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements (i.e. Flight Time Limitations) and a proven ability to solve problems within a time-pressured environment. You will also need to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, and as such, a good command of the English language is required.
