Job description

• Arrange hotels and ground transport for the company’s 7000 crewmembers.

• Maintain an everyday communication and follow up of these partners.

• Booking of ad hoc hotels when preferred hotels are no longer available.

• Update any changes regarding these reservations for irregular operations.

• Publishing of daily lists to hotels and transport companies.

• To manage crewmember’s passive transfers while on duty, both internal and external. (Deadheads).

• Ordering of crew meals.

• Assisting crew with different issues as lost licenses, passports, luggage etc.

• Participate developing profitable and more efficient ways of communication within the organization.

• Secure updates of rosters daily whenever a change is made, either hotel or ticket is booked/ cancelled

• Follow up on emails and communicate with our internal and external suppliers

• Send hotel and PUP information to Crew Tracking/ Replan.

• Send General Declarations daily.

• Updates of our Crew Management System (Netline/Crew) regarding suppliers.

• Follow up of supplier’s deliveries and manage/approve invoices according to procedures.

Working in Crew Management Support you will be located and cooperate closely with the Crew Tracker- and Replanning teams in the Operation Control Centre, both in Oslo and Barcelona, to find and plan legal, cost-efficient solutions and aiming to reduce cost for this part of the business. In this process, you will also communicate directly with our crew in operations to solve individual requests in accordance with company guidelines. As member of the Crew Management Support you will have a role working across the different departments within Crew Management.

Qualifications

• Education in logistics

• Relevant experience within transportation, travel agencies or airlines own Interline/Travel department can compensate for lack of formal experience. Work experience in aviation is preferred.

• Knowledge about applicable rules and regulations towards planning of flight crewmembers is an advantage.

• Knowledge with any crew schedule system is desirable, preferably Netline/Crew (not a requirement)

• Advance knowledge and use of Microsoft Office tools, with emphasis on Word, Excel and Power Point.

• Languages: English C1

• Amadeus experience will be an advantage.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with Management and staff at all levels.

• Self-driven and goal oriented work style.

• Service-minded with a “sure, can do” attitude.
