THE ROLE



Reporting to the Head of Planning & Operational Delivery, the Crew/Network Planning Manager will be responsible for crew rostering and planning in Dublin delivering the schedule and training requirements in accordance with regulatory requirements

 


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Reports to Head of Planning and Operational Delivery
  • Manage the crew rostering/planning team in Dublin in delivering the schedule and training requirement to maximise efficiency and stability in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Design and Implement efficient patterns per base on receipt of Schedule Changes for Avro RJ and SSJ fleets/ KLM, AF, SN and WX networks
  • Analyse schedule changes and communicate hotel and transport requirements to ground ops and any third-party partners such as API
  • Provide current and future trend crew requirements taking account of lead in times
  • Provide or plan training on the crew planning module of RM for the planning team
  • Write and Maintain Procedures for the Dublin Planning Team
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of Flight Time Limitations (FTL’s) and planned changes
  • In conjunction with Flt Ops senior leadership team, present to the Staff Representative bodies rostering requirements when required
  • Regular reporting on Planned v Published
  • Deliver Crew Resource KPI’s
  • Optimise efficient functionality use of RM & Portal within the Team
  • Work closely with the Crew Control Supervisor to ensure delivery of crew efficiency
  • In corporation with HR and in line with regulation ensure company rostering policy meets required standards
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned by the HPOD and GMFO

 

Key Competencies/ Skills

  • Proven track record in delivering Flight Crew rosters
  • A thorough working knowledge of rostering systems (Sabre RM is desirable)
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Understanding of Flight time limitations and training requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good working knowledge of computer applications
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a demanding aviation environment currently undergoing rapid development.
