AS Aerospace Limited.....where aviation and design meet; we are highly experienced, established engineers that deliver bespoke design, manufacture and maintenance solutions to the Aerospace industry.  We provide solutions for fixed and rotary wing for both military and civilian aircraft, taking the client’s initial concept every step of the way, from design through to manufacture, certification and approval.

Alongside this, AS Aerospace hold EASA Part 145 and EASA Part M approval for the Maintenance and Continuing Airworthiness Management of various rotorcraft we hold approvals for.

AS Aerospace are looking to recruit an Airworthiness Administrator to support the Continuing Airworthiness Manager and the team, within the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation CAMO.

Based at Denham Airfield, we are situated 8 Miles to the North of Heathrow Airport.

Job Title: 
Airworthiness Administrator

Purpose of the Role: 
The overarching role for the Airworthiness Administrator is as follows:

  • Support the Continuing Airworthiness Manager and the team in their daily duties and responsibilities.
  • Responsible for the Management of aircraft Technical Records.
  • Responsible for ensuring all publications and documentation used by the organisation are available and up to date.
  • Ensure all maintenance records are retained and preserved as required by the regulatory authority.
  • Provide administrative support to the CAMO.

Experience at Recruitment:

Previously worked within the Aviation industry and in particular, Technical Records, would be advantageous but not essential.

Job Description Responsibilities:

  • Manage the procedures revision and document control process as described in AS Aerospace Technical Procedures Manual.
  • Prepare new sections or revisions to existing Technical Publications in conjunction with the Process Owner/Department.
  • Provide support to the Planning and Maintenance Support team to ensure all aircraft records are filed and stored in accordance with AS Aerospace Continuing.
  • Airworthiness Management Exposition and Technical Procedures Manual.
  • Develop and enhance technical publications and technical records processes and procedures to ensure that information required to perform their duties are available to all AS Aerospace personnel.
  • Provide administrative support to the AS Aerospace CAMO.


Potential Issues to be solved in the position:

To ensure the Maintenance Organisation/Customer has easy and reliable access to Approved Data across, but not limited to, the following areas:

  • trouble shooting, fault diagnosis and technical investigations.
  • technical instructions including parts catalogues.
  • aircraft system diagnostic and monitoring.
  • aircraft related operations, engineering and maintenance issues.
  • To ensure the successful coordination of issues with subject matter experts both internally and externally where directed.
  • To ensure all Technical Documentation is managed and readily available to all stakeholders who require access.

Accountabilities:

  • The Airworthiness Administrator shall act in support of the Part M, Tech Records Manager in order to fulfil CAMO Part M services.
  • Responsible to the CAE Technical Lead for Technical documentation issues concerning aircraft, components, and products during maintenance and operation.
