Configuration & Product Data Management Specialist
Your role will involve 3 key responsible areas:
1. Proposal and Statement of Work support for Configuration and Data Management requirements
Proposal and Statement of Work preparation for the Configuration and Data Management requirements of large, complex fixed wing, rotary wing and autonomous systems programmes, engineering change proposals and engineering services tasks including:
a. Support of the upfront development, interpretation and understanding of Customer requirements.
b. Development and or tailoring of procedures to support Configuration and Data Management activities and deliverables with close Customer and Supplier liaison to agree joint procedures and plans.
c. Identify risks, issues and opportunities and support the development of mitigation plans.
2. Program Configuration and Data Management
a) Configuration Management Planning and Implementation
a. Aid in the Product Lifecycle development, implementation and adherence to Program Configuration Management Planning requirements as documented within the programs contracted Configuration Management requirements.
b. Defines documents and interprets product requirements relevant to certification configuration data and data management and engineering processes. Develops documents and implements plans and processes to ensure products meet technical data regulatory and company requirements
c. Supports the flow down of appropriate and applicable Configuration Management requirements to the Supplier base, through contracted Supplier Statements of Work and verifying the identified Supplier Configuration Management Data Deliverables
b) Configuration Identification
a. Collaborates with teams in the development, analysis, identification and management of Configured Items and their Bills of Materials in order to define and establish their Product Baselines
c) Configuration Verification and Audit.
a. Participate and represent the Configuration Management functional area at the Product Lifecycle Design Reviews
b. Support the definition, planning, coordination and conduct of Boeing led Functional and Physical Configuration Audits
c. Conducts internal and Supplier Configurations Management audits against defined standards and Supplier deliverable Configuration Management Plans
d) Configuration Change and Variance Management
a. Analyses complex product trades and/or changes and support the development of technically complete change proposals.
b. Assists the integration of product elements and analyses & help resolves issues with engineering product structure.
e) Configuration Status Accounting
a. Assist in the definition and allocation of Configuration and Data Management requirements for Product Hardware Configured Items, Software Configured Items and Engineering Design Data systems throughout the product lifecycle.
f) Data Management
a. Assists with development of certification plans, integrated process architecture, infrastructures process models and product structure definitions. Implementation and administration of data requirements/data management processes for Customer Contracted Data Deliverables and Supplier Data Deliverable Requirements.
b. Tracks and reports data to monitor adherence to regulatory data configuration and contractual requirements
General:

Develops documents and implements plans and processes to ensure products meet technical data regulatory and company requirements and to maintain configuration control. Tracks and reports data to monitor adherence to regulatory data configuration and contractual requirements supports audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements. Assists with development certification plans integrated process architecture infrastructures process models product structure definitions and/or data requirements/data management processes.
