SAS CAMO

SAS CAMO is composed of
Continued Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) accountable for the
continuing airworthiness of the SAS fleet including the functions Contracts,
Engineering, Maintenance Planning & Control and Aircraft Transfer.

Contracts

The
Contracts function within CAMO is responsible for contracting and contract
management of all out-sourced maintenance, including airframe, components and
engines maintenance. The Contracts function employs 8 persons working closely
with the rest of CAMO, Finance and Strategic Sourcing and suppliers.

Components
Contract Manager

As our new Components Contract Manager you will be
the key responsible person to maintain and develop the components maintenance
support contract and manage contractual relationship with the suppliers at both
strategic and tactical level.

As member of the contract team your primary task is
to create maximum value for SAS through excellent practices within business
analysis, sourcing, negotiations, benchmarkingand supplier management. Our
challenge and roadmap for the next 1-3 years is to develop our Contracts
function into a best practice unit, a journey we expect you to be a major
contributor to.

We are looking for an experienced and inspiring candidate with relevant
background from the aviation industry, or other equivalent experience in the
machinery, process or transport industry.

Skills and Experience:

* University degree within
engineering, business administration, finance, aviation or similar

* Documented a minimum 3 years of experience in a position
working with larger technical agreements, preferably from an aviation
company, a process industry company or similar

* Experience
of managing large contracts with suppliers and internal stakeholders,
initiating cost saving programs and budget processes

* Practical experience in
business transformations and change

Potential candidates have a strategic working level
and documented experience and proven success from large contracts working with
business analysis, sourcing strategy, contract negotiation and supplier
management, with a continuous focus and drive to reduce cost.

The position is based in
Stockholm,
Sweden at the SAS headquarters at Frösundavik. Travel is to be expected
as part of the job.

Frösundavik itself is a great
place to work. It has a gym, restaurant and café and offers several services to
make your life easier. It’s located in a green area of Solna and close to Haga
Park and Brunnsviken where you can run or swim during lunch breaks. There’s a
non-stop bus connection from Central Station to Frösundavik in the morning that
leaves every 10 minutes and a bus back into the city in the evening. Of course,
cycling is another option and many of us enjoy the scenic route to work every
day.
