Compliance & safety Surveyor (Aviation) - Permanent position - Hampshire - Competitive Salary

Shorterm Group are currently recruiting for a Safety & Compliance Surveyor for an Aviation Client who are a global market leader.
They require a Safety & Compliance Surveyor to report to Head of Compliance and Safety . The position will be to ensure that the Compliance Monitoring programme is implemented correctly, maintained efficiently and reviewed continuously/Auditing of processes primarily within Airworthiness/Aircraft Maintenance. A large part of the role will be to conduct PartM & Part 145 audits of 3rd party suppliers. The position has the potential to involve travel within Europe twice a month 1-3 day trips).

Key responsibilities:

*Auditing as appropriate to ensure compliance
*Develop annual audit programme
*Scheduled and un-scheduled audits/inspections and the production of associated audit/inspection reports
*Provide recommendations to the Quality Manager in relation to the ongoing development of the Quality System, Quality Assurance procedures and associated documentation
*Manage and control documentation in relation to audits
*Review and oversee regulatory publications and updates.
*Identify risks through trend analysis of compliance & Safety data.
*Undertake risk assessments and safety cases.
*Review compliance monitoring audit techniques
*Assist in the development of Compliance and Safety systems and implementation.
*Assist in the development if the ERP
*Attend compliance meetings
*Assist in facilitating 3rd party audits
*Liaise with Regulatory Authorities.

Key Skills and Experience:

*Sound knowledge of commercial aviation industry
*Experience in an airline quality or safety environment
*Demonstrable ability to conduct audits
*Understanding of EASA Part M
*Understanding of Safety Management Systems (SMS)
