Excel Technical Consulting are working on behalf of our valued UK client to find an experienced aviation Compliance Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

The main focus of the role will be to ensure that the maintenance and operational activities of the company are compliant with EASA and other associated authorities regulations. There are a number of key areas covered in this role, including, but not limited to:

Prime responsibility for liaison with all necessary authorities (including EASA)
Management of compliance systems
Auditing of all aspects of the business to ensure compliance with directives
Compiling of in house manuals and procedures
Management of compliance Engineer
Maintaining of the SMS
Investigation of incidents and accidents

The ideal person for this position will be able to demonstrate experience of working in a similar role in compliance/quality within an aviation background, and ideally have strong experience of liaising with the CAA as a post holder. Attention to detail and time management will be key, and you must be able to show good organisational and management skills.

The role will cover 2-3 sites, although you can be based out of just one site - either East Anglia or the south Midlands. Work hours are around 40 per week, and the position has the potential to pay up to £65,000 per year with additional and subsidised benefits such as a strong pension scheme and discounted private healthcare.
