Job Description 1.Compliance with Companies Act, Rules, Guidelines
2. Organizes and prepares agendas for and taking minutes of Board, Committee and General Meetings &
maintaining statutory registers
3. Liaises with external regulators and advisers, such as lawyers and auditors.
4. Files returns with the Registrar of Companies as required and within statutory timeframes
5. Compliance of all Company related laws like Company Law, Mercantile Laws, Contract and other laws
specific to a Limited Company
6. Drafts and reviews bi-lateral contracts and agreements, minimize law firms fees, handling
contractual disputes, dealing with issues raised with Law Firms, Police stations, Tribunals, Courts,
Statutory and Regulatory bodies, etc.
7. Directs and manages contract drafting, contract summarizations/abstractions and contract
management and M&A due diligence
8. Vetting of Agreements and value addition
9. Supports the Finance team with potential legal issues/questions with regard to financial instruments
and bank documentation
10. Represents the organization before Solicitor Firms, Courts and Tribunals as and when required.
