Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the commercial activity of the regional business in the UK&I delivering the overall strategy through the team.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

*

Overall leadership of the account management function across the units, including but not limited to; customer contract management, tenders, budget, financials and profitability (CM1, ongoing margin development), CPI, SLA’s, debt management with finance, menu development process and customer presentations.

*

Overall accountability for Account Managers, including recruitment, training and development, performance management and succession planning.

*

Responsible for existing and new customer relationship management, incl. key events (eg. startups, hosting/hospitality duties, etc.) and ensuring that strong relationships are maintained.

*

Support the commercial director/Global Account Directors (GAD) in preparing and updating account plan and market research and analysis.

*

Support the commercial managers/global account directors with tenders as requested by the line manager

*

Joins customer meetings, visits, audits and presentation as required.

*

Attend the meal presentations and presents the menu pricing to the customer along with any further material required.

*

Reviews customer complaints, responsible to oversee problem solving and implementation plans (from root cause to resolution) with the local unit management and account manager and ensures appropriate communication to the customer.

*

Drives continuous improvement and innovation, challenging the status quo to the benefit of the customer and overall business objectives.

*

Effectively uses data in all aspects of the business and to drive objective decision making.

Qualifications:

Education:

*

Educated to a degree level

Work Experience:

*

Extensive experience in a similar role

*

Previous experience in the food industry preferred

Other Skills: (Certification, Licenses and Registration)

*

Basic Food Hygiene

*

Good English and numeracy skills

*

Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent

*

Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

*

Demonstrable relevant industry experience

*

Demonstrable account management / customer services experience

Geographic Responsibility: UK & Ireland

Type of Employment: Full-time

Travel %: Availability to travel across the UK & Ireland
