Cleaning Supervisor

Supervisor/Team Leader Cleaning Operations
Job Purpose
You will be responsible for ensuring that all post-maintenance/repaired aircraft are thoroughly cleaned prior to returning to full operational duties within British Airways fleet .

Principle Accountabilities
1)Working with British Airways Planners to establish the availability of aircraft for cleaning operations to take place.
2)Supervise and plan operational cleaning activities.
3)Ensuring that the correct manpower is available against aircraft availability and timescales.
4)Set defined tasks for individual team members and allocate them on a daily basis using desktop computer and iPads, controlling work and ensuring staff sign off completed work once the required standard has been achieved.
5)Allocate work to ensure that tasks are completed within set timescales and to an acceptable standard.
6)Recruitment and training of staff
7)Site induction of staff at the start of their contract
8)Ensuring they all staff are aware of and follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE as and when required.

9)Builds productive working relationships with customers and colleagues at all levels.
10)Excellent attention to detail.
11)Problem solving skills.
12)Materials are used in accordance with COSHH
Experience
1)Previous experience in carrying out the tasks and within a similar role
2)A solid background in the management of cleaning in a public accessed environment
3)Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and Legislation.
