Neustadt (Lower Austria) and operate mainly internationally in two intermeshing business fields: We capture and process data with our own aircraft fleet/sensors and deal with various ground data and end products. Based on this experience we offer complete aircraft/sensor packages. We also integrate sensor systems into specially adapted aircraft and market them worldwide which represents our main business field. OFFICE OF AIRWORTHINESS

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Liaison between the design organisation and the Agency with respect to all aspects of certification changes on fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft
• Co-operation with the Agency in developing procedures to be used for the type certification process
• Co-operation in issuing guidelines for the preparation of the manuals required by the applicable implementing rules, Service Bulletins, drawings, specifications and standards
• Type Investigation in concurrence with the Agency
• Regular reporting to the Agency about Type Investigation progress and announcement of scheduled tests in due time
• Ensuring co-operation in preparing test programs needed for demonstration of compliance
• Checking that all compliance documents are prepared as needed for certification

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• University degree, University of Applied Sciences degree of Aeronautics or similar in aircraft construction
• Basic knowledge in working with 3d CAD programs (Solid Edge and/or CATIA V5)
• Min of 2 years of professional experience with proven track record in certification of TC’s and STC’s
• Experience in working with EASA is necessary, experience working with the FAA would be beneficial
• Familiarity with the authorities’ structures and strong skills in negotiating and executing certification paths
• Good skills in project management and team coordination
• Target-oriented, driven workstyle with analytic problem-solving skills required
• Fluent English language skills are essential as well as fluent German. Any other language would be beneficial
