This recruitment is for a Chief Inspector for Ravn Connect (Hageland Aviation) working

within the Quality Assurance Department. This is an exempt, full time, benefit eligible

position.

This position has the authority to organize and direct the Quality Assurance Department in

such a manner to assure the airworthiness and reliability of all company aircraft in

conformity with company policy, company maintenance publications and the CFR’s.

Minimum Qualifications: As per 14 CFR 119.69, 65.71, 65.83, and 65.91 hold a current A&P certificate and
current IA, 3 years’ experience on similar aircraft and 1 year supervisory experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Manages and has overall responsibility for the company internal audit and surveillance program for all

company aircraft maintenance activities, as well as approved OMPs for maintenance and parts.

2. Shared duties with the DM for communication with officials of the FAA, Certificate Holding District Office.

Responsible for maintenance related correspondence and matters of concern to the FAA.

3. Responsible for developing proposed changes to and receiving of Operations Specifications parts D and E.

4. Assure the continuous airworthiness of all company aircraft in conformity with the company Maintenance

publications and the CFR’s.

5. Coordinate the functions of the Inspection Department with the requirements of the other departments

within the company.

6. Overall responsibility for Required Inspection Item (RII) program and may delegate inspection authority to

qualified personnel for the inspection of Required Inspections Items (RII) and Dual Inspection Items (DII).

7. Direct studies and prepare applications for the aircraft, engine, prop, component and appliance overhaul

period time extensions.

8. Ascertain that all contract agencies maintain satisfactory standards of work and comply with requirements

of the company manual and the CFR’s.

9. Assure the calibration test of all tools, instruments and equipment used in the maintenance of company

aircraft, engines, props, components and appliances where such calibration is required.

10. Assure that mandatory modifications, service bulletins, AD Notes and FAA form 337 are accomplished in

accordance with the company manual and the CRF’s.

11. Assure the engineering data used by the company, in the maintenance, overhaul, modification or repair of

the company aircraft is properly documented and is approved by the FAA.

12. Assure that company maintenance manuals, manufacturer’s mandatory service bulletins, and AD Notes are

current and available as necessary.

13. Responsible for the management and performance of revisions to the CAMP and AAIP programs.

14. Overall responsibility and authority for the CASS and NOLA systems.

15. Administer the issuance of Ferry Permits as per the guidance of this manual.

16. Overall responsibility for management of the Training Department.

17. Competes or coordinates with qualified personnel the evaluation of aircraft prior to placement in the

Company’s Air Carrier Operations and coordinates the 14 CFR Part 135 conformity inspections.

18. Responsible for filing Mechanical Interruption Summary Report (MISR) to the CHDO as required by 14 CFR

135.417.

19. Responsible to review all Service Difficulty Reports (SDR) with the CASS Manager prior to submittal

required by 14 CFR 135.415. Perform risk assessment of SDR events using Hageland Aviation Risk Matrix.
