Zenon is delighted to be commissioned by an emerging Low Cost airline to source a Chief Commercial Officer on a permanent basis for their Headquarters based in South America.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:-

 

  • Responsible for the commercial strategy and future development within marketing, sales, product development and customer service areas of the Airline.
  • You will be responsible for identifying new commercial opportunities and driving sales revenue and business growth across the Airline’s relevant business areas.
  • Implementing a strategic approach to market and significantly shaping the development of the Airlines commercial strategy by maximizing flight revenue and optimizing ancillary revenue opportunities.
  • You will also play a pivotal role working with the various departments responsible for customer service to ensure the delivery of best in class customer service excellence. Including monitoring customer feedback, load factors to enhance the fare structure model and adjust strategy when and if appropriate to enhance revenue per seat.
  • Planning product offerings, on-board sales and develop strategies for FFP and any appropriate indirect sales revenue opportunities.
  • Developing marketing plans for online sales, develop relationships with sales agents and the implementation of airport outlets programmes and/or any external sales location.
  • Full responsibility for the delivery of the commercial budget to meet the Company’s strategic and operational business goals.

 

Minimum Skills and Experience:-

 

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in aviation commercial management roles with experience of fare structuring, route analysis and planning and maximising revenue opportunities in an airline of at least 1.5 m pax/year.
  • At least 5 years’ proven management experience leading a team to implement a strategy for Start-up and/or expansion in which the pricing strategies have led to revenue and profit growth
  • Proven experience of market development: GSA´s, call centre, travel agents, tour operators and GDS/Interlining.
  • Low Cost Airline management experience.
  • Fluency in the Spanish Language both written and verbal is desirable but not essential
