Certifying Staff Engines/Components Overhaul

Main Tasks



Perform and Sign-Off Certifying Staff work and inspections on engines / components to ensure quality and safety

Review and ensure correctness and completeness of work performed, maintenance documents and records created

Monitor requirements for maintenance including regulatory, OEM data, customer, process changes, lessons learnt and develop inspections programs

Guide, supervise and provide technical instruction for Trainees and other Mechanics.

Support escalated problem clarification, investigations, verifications

Supervision of corrective actions. Prepare and support audits and related measures.

Requirements


Minimum three years documented practical experience in overhaul / maintenance in jet engines, APU etc. including 2 years practical experience on overhaul of modern high-bypass jet engines.

Profound knowledge, understanding in jet engine technology, materials, tools and MRO standards

Documented experience as Certifying Staff for engines or components is a strong benefit

Part 66 maintenance license including type rating and extensive engine experience is a strong benefit

Profound knowledge and understanding of Part 145 requirements and their implementation in a maintenance organization processes

Graduated from secondary school, aeronautical school or aeronautical military school or vocational training for a technical aeronautical profession or academic degree in relevant technical field

Passion for aviation, enjoys working in a dynamic environment and sharing experience and skills
