CBA Technician Maintenance Planning

Responsible for planning the maintenance workload. Develops and coordinates workload programs for aircraft maintenance and squadron schedulers. Publishes the weekly maintenance plan. Maintains current information on workload and mission progress. Inputs scheduling data into the computer for output of daily schedules (SASS). Maintains the delayed discrepancy subsystem in automated data system. Schedules TCTO’s for accomplishment. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. 1 year of documented experience relating to the job classification. (DD Form 214 or employment record)

Successful and documented completion of formal schooling equivalent to 6 months experience or 6 months of documented experience and completion of ECI course relating to the job classification.

Physical Requirements

Must have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading;

Must be able to work primarily with hands such as utilizing office equipment, computers and/or operation of machines

Must be able to walk particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.

Must be able to climb, bend, kneel, and stoop.

May require light lifting of supplies and materials from time to time.

Must be able to communicate effectively.

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally.
