Department:  Cargo

Reports To:  Cargo Sales & Service Supervisor, Miami

Location:   Miami, Florida

Key Responsibilities:

• Handles cargo reservations and bookings updates.
• Check and review post flight documentations.
• Prepare post flight reports.
• Prepare flight documentation for crew and customs.
• Provide vendor notification for on time and delayed flights daily.
• Provide freighter catering uplift and last minute changes.
• Coordinate between engineering, airport operations, air traffic control and vendor.
• Crew administration – update crew hotline, arrange crew wake-up and pick-up time, update crew of roster changes, manage crew complaints, allowance and medical issues.
• Communication – base control for hand held radios communication between CX ground staff and vendors, heightened liaison with airport operations and air traffic control during winter season.
• Perform company administration duties to include office receptionist for all incoming calls, office deliveries, courier service, FMIS, daily flight statistics entry for local data base, complete and submit airport certified activity reports, stationery inventory control etc.
• Manage GHA performance and provide guidelines and instructions.
• Coordinate weather diversions at diversion sites.
• Initiate call out for down flights (including E&A)
• Provide 24-hour station coverage.
• Handle diversion of passenger flights when required

Qualifications/Experience:

• Minimum 2 years airline customer service experience preferably with airport and/or cargo involvement
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluency in English and Spanish
• Superior independent work habits
• Good telephone manner
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• Weekends and Shift duties required
• Candidate must have a valid Florida Driver License with good driving records to operate a company vehicle
