Responsibilities

The primary role of this position will be to support the Cargo Programs Team’s efforts to ensure all Cargo Customer records and shipment processing remains compliant with Federal Regulations issued by the TSA and CBP.  

* WORK ACTIVITIES/CONTEXT:
* Monitors, updates and maintains the Known Shipper status for all Cargo Customers as necessary to meet regulatory standards using the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Known Shipper Management System (KSMS).
* Maintains and updates the Certified Cargo Screening Facility (CCSF) and Indirect Air Carrier (IAC) status lists for all Cargo accounts as necessary.
* Provides screening data to fulfill inquiries from the TSA as directed by Leader.
* Provides operational support to the Cargo Import/Export Advisor by monitoring and maintaining access to Customs messaging application.
* Perform audits as directed for both TSA screening and Customs related duties.
* Responsible for publishing updated lists and documents to ensure accurate and current resources are available on SWALife Cargo department portal
* Acts as Quickbase Administrator for Cargo Security Compliance
* Provides data analysis support to the Mgr Cargo Safety Policy & Publications for the Safety Management System audit measurements and reporting

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

* High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.

EDUCATION:

* 4 yr College course degree or equivalent work experience required

WORK EXPERIENCE:

* 2 yrs Air Cargo experience or background in International and Domestic air cargo policies and procedures required.
* Experience creating adhoc reports using SQL, Alteryx and/or Tableau preferred.

SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE/WORK STYLE:

Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.

* Ability to stay organized and deliver high quality work, paying close attention to details.
* Ability to share information in a clear and concise manner while tailoring the communication to the audience.
* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, v-lookups, formatting, and advanced formulas.
* Ability to create ad hoc reports using SQL, Alteryx or Tableau is strongly preferred.
* Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously with frequent interruptions and time constraints.
* Must be able to Communicate effectively, both verbally by telephone and face-to-face to both internal and external Customers.
* Must be able to handle complex issues and/or multiple situations simultaneously.
* Must be able to work well with others as part of a team.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

* Must meet confidentiality expectations as to confidential, proprietary and sensitive Company information.
* Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time and work extended hours as needed.
* Bilingual (Spanish) language skills are a plus.     

Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines.
