Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate agreed revenue and services delivery to standards within the assigned territory
  • Maintain and increase customer base and revenue
  • Manage Key Accounts within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and manage two teams, in both SFO and LAX.
  • Produce marketing plans and implement goal setting programs for Western USA
  • Work with Cargo Sales & Service Supervisors in both stations to manage the GHA’s with focus on service standards and cost control
  • Work at all levels in the organization and with widely differing groups of people (agents, forwarders, handling agents)
  • Plan and focus on key priorities
  • Communicate with all Government Authorities for the compliance of aviation and local laws
  • Oversee all budgetary and non-budgetary expenditures
  • Manage local E&A activities
  • Fulfill the tasks and responsibilities of Cargo Operational Duty Holder

 

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of the airline and international air freight industry
  • At least 5 years cargo management with sales experience
  • Proven success records in managing a team of staff
  • In-depth communication, management and demonstrated leadership ability
  • Proven success records in setting and achieving goals and targets
  • Knowledge of computer softwares such as MS Word/Excel/Act
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good decision-making and time management skills
  • Experience in dealing with Local, State, and Federal government agencies including suppliers.
