The vacancy of CAD Support Engineer (Electrical) has arisen within the Engineering function to support the busy CAD helpdesk reporting to the CAD Manager.

Responsibilities expected of this role are:
* Providing first-line CAD technical support
* Training engineers in the correct use of CAD applications
* CAD Standard Parts Librarian tasks
* Proactive thinking on improving systems/procedures/processes

This role would suit an individual who has natural problem solving ability and able to multi-task. They would also require a good knowledge/previous experience of an ECAD tool (Mentor Graphics (preferred), Zuken) and a PDM/PLM system.

An understanding of Aerospace and Defence working practises would be preferred and knowledge of CATIA V5 Electrical Workbench would be advantageous but not essential.
