Skyscanner is a leading global travel search site and app, a place where people are inspired to plan and book direct from millions of travel options at the best prices. We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Growth Strategic Partnerships team and be part of our highly distributed global team. Skyscanner is a global travel brand with a strong footprint in air travel. Our product now incorporates over 1000 partnerships with airlines and online travel agencies (OTAs).

What you can expect as a Business Development Manager

* A supportive, trusting and transparent working environment

* The opportunity to work with the Skyscanner Commercial and Product teams to develop affiliate & data products, and support with taking these products to market

* Working with the team to shape our business development strategy for EMEA as we evolve our product list and target partners

* Building and maintaining an active sales pipeline

* Positioning Skyscanner as a strategic partner to a range of businesses across EMEA

* Managing accounts to ensure long-standing client loyalty to Skyscanner

* Contributing creatively to the EMEA product and commercial development pipeline

* Owning the delivery of budgeted revenue from target and existing partners, and the EMEA overall

* An environment of continuous improvement where you optimise for impact and velocity

What we are looking for

* Previous experience with selling B2B data solutions or affiliate/partnerships

* Experience in an internet business or digital marketing environment - growing a user base for Apps is a plus

* An appreciation of an international and technology oriented business environment

* You will have a fascination with the travel industry, and passion for data, and how insights from data can aid business success

* A business development background that has involved a significant degree of technical or data-driven sales

* An excellent understanding of online media, including knowledge of search engines and portals

* Experience of working with the technology sector in the EMEA

* An additional European language skill would be highly advantageous but not essential
