Job Description:

Comair Limited, a JSE listed Aviation Group, is looking for applicants for a Business Development Manager position. This role is responsible for generating new business for Comair Retail Travel Services and maintains customer relationships in order to meet revenue targets and grow market share, displaying the brand and Comair in a positive, professional manner.

Requirements:

* Grade 12 (Essential).
* Tertiary qualification in Sales / Marketing or Business related (essential)
* GDS qualification, Amadeus/ Sabre / Galileo (desirable)
* International Fares and Ticketing (desirable)
* Sabre Interactive qualification (desirable)
* 6 years’ experience in sales/ new business development and account management within airline operations or TMC or customer service management environment (essential)
* Of the 6 year’ experience the following is included:
* 2 years’ management or supervisory experience (essential)
* 2 years’ experience working in Airline Sales (essential)
* Exposure to customer database management/CRM (desirable)

Additional Details:

The Business Development Manager – Retail Travel Services reports directly to the Retail Travel Manager. The position is responsible for calling on existing and new customers, by gathering relevant information to propose deals that would be mutually beneficial to the customer, that are aligned with Comair policies, procedure and discount guidelines. A key component to this role is overseeing that the customer relationships are continually managed, and relationships leads to a long-term commitment and loyalty from customers. Further to this the role will also oversee that the kulula work brand is advocated effectively on social networks, leads are sourced and converted into customers in order to grow revenue for the division and Comair.
