Primary Responsibilities:

* Plan and execute business development strategies, tactics, pursuit and capture activities capitalizing on Electric Power Systems unique technical and system capability and experience in complete Aircraft Electric systems.
* Work with members of the EPS team to develop winning strategies, creative technical solutions that provide discriminators and add value to the customer.
* Lead tactical business pursuits and prepare capture plans as well as following through in all aspects of their execution.
* Identify and develop new customers and opportunities, track budgets and timing, establish teaming or other business relationships when called for, and maintain a visible presence in the industry.
* Must be a self-starter who can work independently to identify and qualify opportunities and build customer relationships.
* Must also be a team leader and excellent communicator who can work effectively within the EPS organization and greater UTC Aerospace executive management teams.
* Hands-on contributions will include customer and management presentations, white papers, weekly pursuit progress reporting and inputs to technical and business proposals

Qualification:
Excellent writing and presentation skills are essential. Successful candidate will have the personal interaction skills to establish close customer and company team relationships. Possess the technical skills, business judgment and resource management capabilities needed to effectively capture new business. The ability to develop the overall grasp of our business necessary to align our capabilities, products and business objectives with customers and opportunities yielding the highest possible revenue growth. Familiarity with aircraft electrical system related products is preferred along with having a MBA degree

· BA/BS degree w/10+ years experience
· MA/MS degree w/7+ years experience
· PhD degree w/4+ years experience
