Role Summary

B1 or B2+A B737 Type Rated (Classic) licensed Engineer required to support the operation as a flying Spanner. Provide Engineering support to the Operation to the required standard and within all SOP’s ensuring excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Be available to operate for all scheduled flights.
  • Be an effective part of the Operation, working as an integral part of the team
  • Provide all engineering support for the active operation
  • Monitor and control aircraft defects to ensure aircraft availability
  • During all maintenance activities always report discovered malfunctions/remarks/observations according to established procedures and forms.
  • Ensure the aircraft is cleaned to a high standard
  • Liaise with the Part M Planning Department to ensure all planned maintenance is completed on time
  • Liaise with Line Maintenance Control regarding defects and rectification
  • Act as technical representative on any base check inputs

Academic/Educational Requirements


  • Valid B1 or B2+A B737 Type Rated (Classic) Licence
Required Skills/Experience:

  • Extensive experience of Boeing 737 Type
  • Airside Driving License desirable or ability to hold Airside Driving Licence
  • Must be Proactive, self-motivated & confident self-starter
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Possess confident and effective communication skills (both written & verbal)
  • Ability to make good judgements based on the needs of the company operation, in a very fluid, fast changing environment.
  • Proven problem solving and Planning & Organising skills

  • When this specific contract Operation is not active you will be required to take leave and/or perform other duties commensurate with your skills and experience within a 40-hour week normally Monday to Friday.
