Join us as Bids coordinator and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in Kingston, Ontario.

As a Bids coordinator you will plan, develop, implement and manage all activities of proposal preparation and submission for the Product Family, including proposal planning and the formulation of contract documents. You will ensure that the proposal properly addresses the customer’s requirements in alignment with the bid strategy. You will also support in the development of winning proposal strategies, and implement this strategy during bid generation and through negotiations for the Product Family.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Support the transformation team with the KPIs related to Bids (Hit Rate, Number of Bids delivered, etc);
- Coordination of inputs to the Product to Project (Bids) and attend weekly meetings;
- Support on Pre-Bid Activities (RFI, Prequals, Negative Gate Reviews);
- Keep up to date the bids lookahead schedule, based on the updates received by Bid Governance;
- Creation, development and implementation of bid themes, designs and visual identity for proposals in coordination with the project Bid Manager, Proposal Manager and Bid Coordinator;
- Design, development and creation of all bid graphics material, including but not limited to: livery designs; proposal cover and tabs; page layouts and desktop publishing duties; template designs; icons and infographics.

Qualifications

Key requirements:

- University Degree in Business or equivalent;
- Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) training or certification;
- Seven (7) years of experience within a proposal environment, for example in Engineering, Marketing, Project Management, Contracts, Sales, Manufacturing or Procurement;
- Minimum two (2) years of cross-border team management;
- Understanding of project and sales management principles;
- Strong and broad knowledge of MS Office, particulary Word and Excel;
- Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Visio and database for example Access;
- You have excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
