Battery Shop Technician

BATTERY SHOP TECHNICIAN - BROMLEY, KENT - PERMANENT POSITION.

Shorterm Group are currently recruiting for Battery Shop Technicians working for an Aerospace company based near Bromley.

Responsibilities:

*Servicing and inspection of Aircraft Batteries in accordance with the CAA, EASA, FAA and Customer requirements. ( Ni-cd Batteries, Sealed Lead Acid Batteries and Emergency Battery Packs).
*Maintain accurate records.
*Perform Quality Control inspections
*Provide technical information to customers when called upon
*Perform Shipping and Receiving duties as required

Experience:
*2+years experience within an Electronic Components Technicians role, ideally within the aerospace/aircraft parts industry

Skills required:

Ability to use Electronic Test Equipment to analyse, repair and charge Batteries
*Experience of working to ISO 9001:2008 quality standards
*Ability to solve practical tasks and deal with a variety of changing situations.
*Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
*Good communication skills
*Must be highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.
