DUE TO CONTINUING EXPANSION, BLUE ISLANDS IS SEEKING TO RECRUIT A SUITABLY TYPE RATED B1 ENGINEER FOR ITS ENGINEERING BASE AT JERSEY AIRPORT
Blue Islands is a privately and independently owned Channel Islands based regional airline, which became a Flybe franchise partner in 2016, operating flights in Flybe branded aircraft between the Channel Islands and to the UK. Blue Islands operates an all ATR fleet comprising of ATR 72 and ATR 42 aircraft and employs 100 people across its bases in Guernsey and Jersey.
This position requires a full, unrestricted B1 Engineering Licence with a type rating covering the ATR 42 & 72 variants and the individual should possess an ability to work concisely and accurately under pressure in an often demanding Line Maintenance environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of Line Maintenance troubleshooting and the ability to work comfortably across both mechanical and electrical disciplines will be a considerable advantage in this position.
