Job responsibilities and main activities

The B1 & B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer will work in the MRO In accordance with EASA Part 145 requirements.

Will report directly to Team Leader / Shift Manager or nominated deputy to receive his daily assignment for RSAF MRTT fleet.

The engineer will perform (pre-flight and post-flight checks, daily and weekly checks, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, as well perform all documentation required on the task card and or in the Tech log book after completion of any maintenance, in a timely manner.

Will perform trouble shooting IAW the TSM.

Perform critical inspections while using sensitive equipment like a borescope or multi meter.

The engineer will certify all servicing and maintenance tasks in accordance with their scope of work authorization, which is approved under the authority of the company Quality Manager.
Requirements and qualifications

Applicants should have at a minimum one of the following valid license. EASA part 66 B1 or B2 license or A&P FAA license or GACA B1 or B2.

Must have a type rating for A330, with a minimum of 1 year experience.

If applicants have MRTT Level 1 course this would be an advantage but not a requirement.

Must be self-motivated and have the ability to process complex systems and logically think through problems and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Experience working in line and base maintenance.

Good working knowledge of Technical documentation (AMM, IPC, TSM, CMM, MEL).

Works well in a team enviroment.

Works well under stress and deadlines.

Must have excellent communication skills in English language verbally and written.

Must be willing to work shift and rotation, weekends and National holidays when needed.

Driver License required.
