Avionics Maintenance Technician

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Perform General :
avionicssupport items on aircraft. This shall include, but not be limited toitems such as removal and installation of panels and components and repair work.
- Troubleshooting andevaluation of systems on the aircraft when designated.
- Inspection and evaluation ofthe aircraft and components when designated.
- Maintenance and repair ofshop facility, equipment and tooling to support operations.
- Work independently onprojects and lead multiple projects as assigned. Schedule and work quality areessential in these functions.
- Work with customer in projectmanagement, pricing and customer support roles.
- Must be willing to work overtimeand alternate shifts, as required
- Any other job-related dutiesas assigned by supervisor or management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION

- Highschool diploma or equivalent.
- Electrical tech school.
- Avionics specific training preferred.
EXPERIENCE

- 3+ years of turbine and/or corporate aircraft experience preferred
- FAA paperwork, work order and billing process experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Able tolift as least 50 lbs.
- Routine walking, bending and squatting or sitting.
- Routine or repetitive physical motion with arms and hands.
- Basic personal computer operation.
