Job Role:
Morson international are recruiting an avionics installation engineer for our prestigious client based at Gloucestershire Airport. Manufacture and installation of electrical wiring for aircraft undergoing modification.
Key Skills:
- Ability to manufacture, install and terminate aircraft electrical looms to an aviation standard
- Ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings to a high standard
- A good working knowledge of the regulations, requirements and standards associated with electrical loom manufacture and installation
- An understanding of avionics system integration
- Competent English language skills, verbal and written
Qualifications:
* Aircraft electrical/avionic apprenticeship or equivalent training
* Basic IT Skills Top 4 Major Tasks and Activities:
* Production, installation and termination of wiring looms iaw electrical engineering drawings
* Electrical continuity checks iaw electrical engineering drawings
* Electrical wiring fault finding and rectification
* Assistance in avionic system checks/tests and aircraft strip & rebuild
Additional Key Accountabilities:
* Ensures company procedures are adhered to at all times
* Ensures tool control procedures are adhered to at all times
* Ensures a high level of work space cleanliness is maintained
* Ensures compliance with Health & Safety at all times
* Ensures all work carried out is signed for
