Qatar Aeronautical College (QAC) is a Centre of excellence for Aviation Training in the Middle East, based in Doha, Qatar. QAC currently delivers approved EASA B1, B2 and A1.1 License, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering courses as well as ATSEP Ground Avionics courses. QAC also delivers courses in Pilot Training (MPL, PPL & ATPL), ATC, Meteorology (MET) and Airport Operations Management (AOM).
QAC invites professionals meeting the following requirements to join our team for the position of;Avionics Engineer
Minimum qualifications and experience required for the above positions are:
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in engineering in relevant field.
- Holder of a current EASA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License in category B2 with group type ratings covering at least three Aircraft types (DA42 - DA40 - PA28 - PA34 )
- Holders of ICAO Type II license issued by other contracting states may be considered provided that such license can be accepted by the State of Qatar
- At least five (5) years experience as a type rated license engineer working in the general aviation environment.
- At least three (3) years recent experience working, in a certifying capacity, on two or more of the types of aircraft maintained by the Department.
- At least two (2) year experience as Maintenance supervisor within an approved maintenance organization
- Excellent organization, communication, computer operations, leadership and team building skills are required.
