Position Description

Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented candidate to ProvideBD strategy, capture and proposal leadership for Dynetics’ Avionics Division. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

This position requires an understanding of Airborne/Aerospace Electronics along with a solid understanding of business strategy, capture, and proposal development for the Aerospace market.

The position will support development of technology roadmaps, implementing capture plans, leading proposal activities and developing long term growth strategies for Avionics products. They will be responsible for the development of capture strategies then preparing and presenting recommendations to senior management.

Candidates must be capable of direct interaction with prospective customers to understand technical requirements, issues, and to communicate the key features of potential solutions to customer requirements. Travel will be required.

The BD Capture Manager will represent Dynetics to new and existing customers, negotiate teaming agreements, develop and present capability briefings, and represent the division on corporate strategic opportunities. Successful candidates will represent Dynetics in a positive, ethical manner in all dealings with customers and the community at large, and project professionalism and cooperation.

Basic Qualifications

* A Bachelors degree in a technical or business field is required with at least 10 years experience in a business capture and proposal development environment, and must have experience in capture or execution of hardware development programs.
* Candidate must have demonstrated organizational, communication, and leadership skills, and experience with Aerospace electronics.
* Candidate should have the ability to: effectively and successfully lead multiple, concurrent business development efforts in a fast-paced, highly technical environment; plan, delegate, integrate, and communicate capture plans; and communicate effectively with executive management and technical staff.

* Candidate must be a U.S. citizen
* Must be able to travel.

* Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
