Avionic Technician/Fitter
North Wales

Carbon60 has an exciting contract opportunity for a number of Avionic Technician/Fitters for an ongoing contract based North Wales.

Main Details of role;
· To assist in the production of Hawk aircraft to meet the daily flying task. This will include working in both Flight Line and Hangar environments. Employees may be asked to work over-time to ensure there are sufficient aircraft to meet the task. The Hawk contract requires employees to support planned detachments and aircraft recovery activities as and when requested.
· To carry out as directed trade tasks pertent with the maintenance, rectification and preparation of Aircraft to meet the allocated daily task at first line. Tasks are to be supervised and carried out in a safe and efficient manner to ensure task progression meets the allocated flying programme without compromising flight safety or the airworthiness of the aircraft. Any problems or foreseen delays are to be passed directly to trade supervisor.

We are looking for engineers with the following experience/knowledge
· Excellent trade knowledge, preferably with fast jet experience at first and second line
· Experience of working with quality, safety and environmental management systems
· Ideally a knowledge of the TMk1/TMk2 Aircraft and/or components maintained, and of Fast Jet maintenance.
· Knowledge of Quality, Safety and Environmental management systems.
· Knowledge of RAF engineering policy documentation

Qualifications
· Current Human Factors Certification
· EWIS 1 + 2
· Aerospace Engineering qualification in relevant discipline
· Proof of experience and currency on aircraft

· Flexible and motivated and able to work on own initiative when required.
· Able to achieve task objectives within specified deadlines
· Display an energetic, enthusiastic, disciplined work ethic in a team environment

Summary of Role Details
Start: ASAP
Contract Length: Ongoing
Hours: Standard working hours 37 per week (The business may increase to 48 a week)
Location: North Wales
Rate: £20.39 P/H ltd + shift allowance
Shift: Flexiblity required - to be confirmed
