Job Role:
Excel have a new permanent position with our globally known client based in Scotland for an EASA B2 engineer (no type ratings necessary, but rotary experience required!) to join their Airworthiness team to oversee Avionic and Electrical elements of the company fleet.
This role will be within the CAMO department, so will consist of reviewing Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and any other OEM or EASA regulations specific to the company aircraft types.
You will play a key role in liaising with licenced engineers in relation to Technical Support, Modification, Reliability and Airworthiness functions as an when necessary.
Given this position forms a link between airworthiness and hands on maintenance, we are looking for a B2 licence holder with a solid understanding of airworthiness functions, Part 145 and Part M regulations, as well as a keen knowledge of day to day avionic maintenance.
This position is ideal for someone looking to move more into a Quality/CAMO role whilst still keeping in touch with the daily aspects of maintenance within a busy team - with a salary of around £65k per year and the opportunity to receive type training on the company aircraft, this is one not to be missed!
