On behalf of our Aviation Client in Shannon, we are seeking an experienced Aviation Repairs & Logistics Co ordinator for a permanent role.

Repairs Co Ordinator areas of responsibility:

  • Market research, including market price and repair averages
  • Consistently communicate new information, status on repairs and changes of vendors capabilities to pertinent parties or department
  • Vendor approvals and vendor certification update requirements
  • Order processing, expediting, status updates and filing.
  • Must fully understand company and industry regulated Certification and Traceability Requirements
  • Problem resolution such as vendor issues and damaged goods
  • Vendor selection based on product repair needs
  • Create vendor relations to enhance support

Logistics Co Ordinator areas of Responsibility:

  • Coordinates and schedules transportation via Air/Ground/Ocean to meet purchase order and mission requirements to meet company Goals.
  • Purchase transportation services and/or supplies working with plans developed with the sales team. Contact vendors and transportation companies, to ensure that materials, supplies, and equipment are shipped and delivered on promised dates.
  • Determine when deliveries may be delayed; coordinates with supply chain service center and vendors and other users to expedite material requirements; maintains records and follow-up files of purchases, shipments, returns of damaged items, and related matters.
  • Schedules the day to day company transportation need to ensure all deliveries/pick-ups are done efficiently; select over the road transportation providers and negotiate rates to support company priorities.

Skills & experience:

The successful Candidate MUST come from an Aviation background and have specific knowledge within the Commercial Aviation Industry.

Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Programs

Ability to define problems and collect data

Preferred skills - QUANTUM
