Job description

• Ensure that our contractors deliver agreed activities in accordance with signed contracts.

• Conduct audits to monitor compliance with relevant regulations, requirements, standards and procedures; and to assess that related processes and procedures are in place, are

compliant, adequate and effective.

• Identify and record any observations or findings and the evidence necessary to substantiate such observations or findings.

• Produce audit reports and include findings where non-compliance or areas for improvement are identified.

• Follow up on the response for issued findings / observation within specific timescales.

• Verify the implementation of solutions, root cause, corrective actions, and preventive actions within specific timescales.

• Keep the database (QualityNet) updated.

• Liaise with the Norwegian Support Services compliance department with regards to technical auditing requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum Experience Requirements;

• Proven / Documented skills and qualifications.

• At least five years’ relevant work experience, of which at least three years should be from the aeronautical industry in an appropriate position. An appropriate position means managerial position as;

- Continuing airworthiness management experience

- Maintenance management experience

• Relevant engineering degree as;

- Aeronautical Engineer Degree

- Mechanical Engineer Degree

- Electrical Engineer Degree

- Electronic Engineer Degree

- Avionic Engineer Degree

• Or an aircraft maintenance technician qualification with additional education acceptable to approving competent authority

• Practical experience and expertise in application of aviation safety and standards and safe operating practices.

• Minimum 3 years’ technical education.

• Fluent in written and spoken English.

• Able to live and work in the EU.

• No Criminal Record and able to apply successfully for an airport pass.

Personal qualities

Pre-requisites for the role:

• A working knowledge of EASA Basic Regulation / Annexes for Continuing Airworthiness (Part-M, Part-145, Part-66, Part-147).

• Previous Maintenance experience with both wide and narrow body aircraft, ideally B737 and B787.

• Effective planning/organizing skills, customer focused and analytical with good judgment, able to work under pressure and a team player.

• Thorough knowledge of MS Office.

• Structured, Systematic and punctual in all work activities

• Good communications skills, both internally and externally.

• Ability to be persistent without being imperious and promote quality.

• Ability to work under pressure on their own or as a team player.

• Knowledge and training in quality systems, auditing techniques and the Organizations procedures and documentation.

Desirable:

• Preferable bilingual (Spanish).

• Knowledge of FAA regulations
