As a Finance Intern, you will get an opportunity to work support various Business Unit compliance activities.
Responsibilities will include: •Sarbanes Oxley compliance, Controls Set up and assist with various eSOX (sarbox) activities •Assist with monthly control activities including preparing and monitoring Sales Order Change reports and Journal Entry reviews •Account Reconciliation audits •Forecasting, planning, risks and opportunities tracking, •Account Reconciliations •Prepare variance and ad-hoc analysis •Provide financial counsel and support to the business The Finance Intern shall: •Assist in different aspects of compliance and special project activities •Assist in Sarbanes Oxley compliance, testing, and monthly controls related activities •Basic financial analysis •Potential meetings and working with senior leadership of the ES business unit •Assist with Account Reconciliations

Qualification:

* Must have completed at least 30 credit hours of college coursework.
* Must have a 3.0 gpa or higher
* Actively Enrolled as a student at an accredited university
* Knowledge of Financial Statements
* Knowledge of MS Excel
* Excellent analytical skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong interpersonal and communications skills
* Ability to work independently
* Results-oriented
* Self-starter attitude
* Financial Reporting software (such as HFM) and ERP system (such as SAP) knowledge desirable, but not required
* Previous UTAS Internship Experience a plus

Education:
* Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
