Job Role:
Reporting to the Vice President, you will play an important role to support the Changi East development project in various Finance functions. You will lead a team of 3 to 5 staff and will be responsible for the month-end and year-end closing activities, including project accounting, financial reporting, management accounting as well as liaise with internal and external auditors for audit matters. You will also lead the team in working with internal and external stakeholders on funding related matters as well as lead in the annual budgeting exercise for the development project. In addition, you will work closely with the Changi East Project Management team to drive process improvement initiatives to meet project requirements as well as support business needs of the project team. You will also promote a highly collaborative working relationship within the finance team and project team. Lastly, you will ensure compliance to Finance policies, procedures and processes as well as support the project team on Finance related matters and endeavour to provide excellent customer service to all internal and external business users.
REQUIREMENTS
Good degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification
At least 15 years of relevant working experience will be advantageous.
Good computer knowledge, well-versed in Microsoft Office applications and experience in using SAP will be an added advantage
Able to lead a team and influence both finance and non finance personnel at all levels
Responsible, detailed and meticulous
Proactive team player with strong interpersonal, excellent communication and writing skills
Analytical, self-motivated and highly organized
Able to handle work pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
This is a 3-year fixed-term contract position.
