Assistant Technical Leads

Job Description:

Perform production functions in Eng. Tech Illustration. Assist in the development of production personnel. Meet individual production schedules and input goals. Perform quality review of work performed by Eng. Tech Illustrator that results in specific actions to aid in the development of assigned Eng. Tech Illustrator mentee’s. Assist the Technical Lead and employees in all aspects of production as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

Completed CAD training from technical school. Associates or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent college degree/certification preferred

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum one year technical school and three years CAD experience

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

Demonstrate expert knowledge and performance in all areas of job responsibilities.

Good knowledge of applicable systems procedures, standards, specifications and reference tools.

Knowledgeable in all areas of Illustration.

Good analytical skills.

Prioritizes for maximum productivity.

Intermediate Microsoft PC skills.

Must exhibit problem resolution skills.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform all advanced production responsibilities.

Solve routine production issues.

Assist employees with what is needed to perform their jobs.

Provide technical training to less experienced employees.

Maintain consistent illustration style in accordance with the style guide.

Review and investigate quality issues. Lead efforts to identify root causes of quality problems and to improve processes to achieve first-time quality.

Review product for the purpose of verifying compliance to applicable procedures and specifications.

Compare product to incoming source data for the purpose of verifying technical accuracy.

Recognize non-conformities in product.

Document any non-conformity found in accordance with established procedures.

Provide coverage when Supervisor is not present.

Other duties as assigned.
