ABOUT THE ROLE
Job purpose:
A vacancy exists in for an enthusiastic full-time person to work with the existing Manufacturing Support Production Controller.
Key Tasks:
* Liaison between customers, project managers and Manufacturing Support staff
* Scheduling production requirements
* Communicate with all internal business units regarding production activities
* Working closely with all production staff
* Identification of jobs that will not be released into work, in-line with job dates, without intervention, reviewing these jobs and determining potential intervention actions
* Prioritising jobs where a work-centre has a potential conflict with job operation dates and communicating the priority to the workshops.
* Communicating potential delivery issues that have or may impact dates to our internal customers
* Recording of and reporting on jobs that need intervention such that data can be used for full root cause corrective actions
* Attending all internal and external production meetings
* Deputising for the Production Controller in hisher absence when required
ABOUT YOU
* Good IT skills, being conversant with Excel, Access and Project,
* Good verbal and communication skills.
* They must be able to work methodically, both individually and as part of a small team
* Previous Aerospace Manufacturing experience
* Have sound organizational skills and ability to prioritise
* Be able to work on their own initiative.
* Apprenticeship or professional qualification in production Aerospace, Manufacturing, Production or equivalent
