Role Purpose

To ensure the continuing airworthiness of MASwings ATR72-212A AND DHC6-400 by performing airworthiness reviews of the aircrafts for the purpose of Airworthiness Review Report (ARR) issuance as required for the Certificate of Airworthiness approval by DCAM and, if applicable, to issue permit to fly.

Key Accountability

To carry out airworthiness reviews of MASwings ATR72-212A AND DHC6-400 for the purpose of Airworthiness Review Report (ARR) issuance as required for the Certificate of Airworthiness approval by DCAM.

To issue permit to fly for MASwings ATR72-212A AND DHC6-400 when the CAMO is attesting conformity with approved flight conditions.

To carry out airworthiness documentation reviews and physical reviews of MASwings ATR72-212A AND DHC6-400 and to issue a finding report for CAMO appropriate corrective actions in order for the Airworthiness Review Report to be issued.

To issue an Airworthiness Review Report (ARR) for MASwings ATR72-212A and DHC6-400 when satisfied that the airworthiness review has been properly carried out and there is no non-compliance which is known to endanger flight safety.

To make a recommendation for MASwings ATR72-212A and DHC6-400 Certificate of Airworthiness issuance or renewal to DCAM together with the ARR.

Others - Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

Degree - Aircraft Engineering

Working Experience

At least 5 years of experience in continuing airworthiness

Skills & Knowledge

The airworthiness review staff of the approved CAMO or the contracted airworthiness review staff of an approved EMD-MAB CAMO as listed in CAME 5-01-01.

Formal aeronautical maintenance training a position within the approved organization with appropriate responsibilities, and not with standing points 9.1(a)(i) to 9.1(a)(iv) of AN 6102, the requirement laid down in paragraph 9.1(a)(ii) of AN 6102 may be replaced by 4 years of experience in continuing airworthiness additional to those already required by paragraph 9.1(a)(i) of AN 6102.

Key Challenges

To be approved to carry out airworthiness reviews and, if applicable, to issue permit to fly, a CAMO shall have appropriate airworthiness review staff to carry out airworthiness review and to issue airworthiness review report and, if applicable, to issue a permit to fly in accordance with paragraph 13.1(f) of AN 6102.
