The role

Reporting to the EFB Administrator, the Assistant EFB Administrator is a critical role that will be responsible for ensuring that Pilot iPads perform to a high standard and in compliance with the requirements of the company Operations Manual and relevant legislation.

This critical role will be primarily responsible for administering the Jetstar Australia New Zealand EFB system in line with legislative and operational requirements. This position also acts as a support and backup position for the operations publications distribution role.

Some key responsibilities include:

* Overall iPad Management via AirWatch including monitoring usage, security support, content management, user management, application management, profile management and reporting
* iPad Support (HW and SW) including managing issues, coordinating suppliers to resolve issues, repair claims, content management, troubleshooting and hardware support onsite
* Database and manual management for navigation data distribution, weight and balance and manuals and documentation as required
* iPad/App training including induction and briefings to new starters as well as content management on intranet page
* Operations publications distribution support (OPD) - Assist where required in processing and distributing hard copy manuals and equipment to aircraft and ports

To be considered for this role, you will have:

* Tertiary qualification in IT or Aviation
* Previous experience in aviation industry is highly desirable
* Mobility or server management experience preferred
* Exceptional written and oral communication skills with a focus on attention to detail
* Strong/Advanced analytical skills; able to interpret a result set and propose/drive changes if required
* Outstanding administrative skills with experience with Microsoft office products including Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Access and Outlook
* Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritise conflicting tasks in order to meet strict deadlines and an inherent ability to liaise and maintain relationships effectively at all levels
* Own transport and be willing to work in multiple locations
* An ability to be on-call after hours
* Flexibility with early starts and late finishes
* A willingness to travel as required
