About The Job

:

As a Data Visualization Architect you will:

* Perform coding/programing

* Lead in development of new data mining methods, analytics and tools.

* Lead the use of statistical simulation tools (R, Alteryx), programming languages such as Python, VBA, Java and C#, and data visualization tools such as Tableau.

* Drive reporting programing quality and delivery integrity by paying attention to solution planning, follow-ups, thoroughness and details.

* Perform requirements gathering

* Develops and maintain advanced analytic models and processes

* Develops and maintain various reports, dashboards and visualizations

* Interface with IT to institutionalize new tools

* Train others on new tools

* Assist with ad-hoc analysis as needed

* Serve as a conduit between Cabin Experience business operations and IT

* Serve as the database ambassador that shall have a vision on driving NEF reduction through effective and accurate NEF reporting design

* Evaluate Cabin Experience business requirements with each of the functional areas

* Identify reporting gaps and integrate as required

* Streamline data to maintenance workflows

* Develop knowledge base and maintain dashboards and other analytical visualizations

* Perform SDLC best practice by documenting new requirements, gathering data specifications, developments, testing and implementations

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

* BS in Engineering, Data Science, Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, related fields or equivalent experience/training

* Demonstrated aptitude for logical analysis, problem identification, and problem solving as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills

* Ability to use computer-based tools and programming languages to implement solutions

* Experience in programming languages such as R, SharePoint WebServers, SQL, HTML, Java Script, C#

* Ability to prioritize while handle multiple responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

* Knowledge of functional area and maintenance applications such as SAFE, MAP, DECS, SAP, APC etc.

* Aviation experience

* Advanced degree (MS) in Engineering, Data Science, Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics

* 2+ years’ experience in a technical professional environment

* Familiarity with the airline/travel industry

* Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas:

* R or Python programming

* Alteryx data blending and Tableau data visualization

* Data Mining/Big Data concepts and tools

* Knowledge of classification, statistical and machine learning algorithms for predictive and prescriptive analytics.

* Ability to wrangle data from disparate sources into a comprehensive view of a business problem. Prior experience with recommender systems and/or text mining a plus.
