Job Role:
Reporting to the Applications Support Manager, the incumbent is responsible for Level 2 SAP Functional Finance support.
Responsibilities
2nd Level Support for SAP Functional FI module :
Perform basic to medium complexity configuration;
Perform basic debugging/bug analysis;
Escalate to other support L2 or L3 team with analysis;
Perform and implement small enhancements;
Build/maintain training materials in central repository;
Build/maintain Quick reference guides and FAQ’s;
Maintain internal team documentation – process changes, configuration documents and functional specifications, training documents, etc.;
Perform MASS update (LSMW);
Coordinate regression testing with Level1 /define scope of regression testing;
Automation of regression testing with IATA automation tool;
Assist month end and year end checklist procedures and ensure their completion;
Train/coach users on SAP FI functionalities;
Execute unit and integration testing;
IDOC monitoring and troubleshooting in liaison with SAP OTC L2 support;
Workflow processing, monitoring, fixing issues;
Use a ticket management system to reflect resolution and other actions.
In addition the incumbent will support when possible the SAP ECC platform owner and Level 3 support to develop, implement and maintain best business practice standard operating procedures in line with SAP FI standard functionalities.
Qualifications and Skills
University degree;
Minimum 5 year experience in SAP FI modules;
SAP FI configuration skills;
AR module (incoming payments, invoicing, dunning, clearing of customer accounts, revenue recognition, credit card loads in SAP);
AP module (Outgoing vendor payments, clearing vendor items, entering vendor invoices with a PO and without POs);
Fixed asset module (monthly depreciation, acquisitions of assets, transfer of assets);
GL (manual entries, recurring entries, JV uploads from excel to SAP, foreign exchange valuation, intercompany transactions);
Understanding of the internal orders, cost centers, profit centers, derivation rules for profit centers, integration between the FI module and the OTC and PTP modules and finally with all the month end and year end steps to be done in SAP (GR/IR maintenance and clearing, accrual deferral documents, etc...);
Understanding of ITIL processes;
Customer centric focus;
Knowledge of query reports and mass update tools;
Training experience would be desirable (including experience with training remote audience via remote communication tools);
Good presentations and communication skills;
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, coupled with the ability to work to tight deadlines;
Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office software especially Ms Word, Ms Excel;
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; Knowledge of other languages would be an asset;
Oher modules of SAP ECC would be a plus (PTP, OTC, Workflow, ABAP debug capabilities);
Tosca Testing would be a plus;
Experience with problem resolution and troubleshooting;
A candidate with work experience in accounting would be preferable.
