Purpose

The Ancillaries Executive will support the Ancillaries Manager/Assistant Ancillaries Manager in managing non-air and retail ancillary products through new product launches, enhancements to existing products, optimisation and performance tracking.

Key responsibilities and tasks

The Purpose of the Ancillaries Team in Cathay Pacific Airways is to enrich a customer’s travel experience by offering them a wide range of value added travel related products and services other than the flight tickets. The Ancillaries Executive will support the Ancillaries Manager / Assistant Ancillaries Manager to manage non-air ancillary revenue (e.g. travel insurance, car rental) and retail ancillary revenue (e.g. advertising sales, partnership).

* Assist the Ancillaries Manager / Assistant Ancillaries Manager to coordinate product launches, enhancements and ongoing revenue-optimisation initiatives

* Coordinate copywriting, imagery and other marketing materials to promote ancillary products primarily on digital channels

* Identify and implement tactical campaigns to boost ancillary sales

* Plan and carry out User Acceptance Tests with suppliers/partners and internal IT teams to enable and enhance digital touch points to cross sell ancillary products.

* Produce weekly/monthly performance-tracking reports to measure revenue performance and digital touch point effectiveness

* Coordinate back-end fulfilment, billing and invoicing activities, and/or customer support logistics, as required.

* Assist to follow up on customer feedback if any

* Carry out research and benchmarking exercises to monitor the ancillary product offerings, strategy and pricing of other airlines and OTAs, recommending new ancillary opportunities and partners for Cathay Pacific.

* Work with agency and suppliers to coordinate advertising content approval and upload procedure to inflight entertainment system

* Execute ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Qualifications / Experience

* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, eCommerce, or equivalent work experience

* 3-4 years of marketing or partnership experience

* 3-4 years eCommerce experience especially in related to digital development and analytic work

* Solid experience of partnership liaison and vendor/agency management

* Excellent planning, organisational skills and time management.

* Able to work under stress with a good sense of prioritization able to do multi-tasks

* Hands-on experience in coordinating product launches, ongoing enhancements, optimisation and promotional campaigns.

* Strong business and commercial acumen and an interest in airline industry

* Able to anticipate needs from internal and external parties to deliver projects on time

* Hands on experience in analytical tools such as Excel, CIS/Brio, Google Analytics

* Hands-on experience in planning and carry out UATs

* High degree of internet savviness, with a curiosity and enthusiasm for using digital technology trends to enhance travel experience
