You will be part of the Product Development Engineering, Aerospace team where it all starts for Bombardier as it sets the stage to take full advantage of its investments and the tremendous growth potential of its new products. The organization is responsible for bringing new aircraft programs to their successful entry-into-service. Currently, these new products are the all-new CSeries commercial aircraft and the high-performance Global 7000/Global 8000 business jets.
In your role, you will:
- Work closely with the Knowledge Management team to
Align engineering discipline processes and reporting requirements with knowledge management strategies and engineering objectives.
Optimize the use of technology and development of tools.
- Work closely with engineering discipline core teams to support
The governance and management of their discipline including assessment, gap analysis, and planning
The development of their community networks and activities
- Work closely with Business Units to support alignment with Knowledge Management strategies and implement knowledge capture processes.
- Work closely with Management to support the governance of engineering discipline activities.
- Develop an effective lessons learned system including processes, methods, tools and governance.
- Develop an innovation management process that supports idea generation, mobilization, screening and governance.
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate,
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Studies, Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Business Administration or Engineering
- A Master’s degree is considered an asset.
- You have a minimum of two (2) years of related experience.
- You have an appreciation of the business value of knowledge management and an understanding of knowledge management strategies, practices, tools and technologies.
- You are a self-starter with great leadership skills. You can take initiative and persevere in the realization of ideas.
- You have exceptional analytical, problem solving and conceptual thinking skills.
- You have high developed organizational skills with a great capacity to manage complexity and execute large projects.
- You have excellent relationship management, communication and facilitation skills. You can collaborate with diverse stakeholders and facilitate meetings. You have above average verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
- Specific knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint 2013 and Web 2.0 technologies will be considered a strong asset.
