Position description

Within the Cargo division, the Contribution Management department is responsible to optimize the flights and road feeder network from hub (Zurich, Geneva). Contribution management seeks to achieve the maximal contribution (revenue minus costs) by steering the right shipments to the right flights. By doing so, Contribution Management ensures that our freight capacity is used optimally - that we load the maximum cargo for the best possible price.

The Analyst Contribution Steering (Mail & eCommerce) is the specialist within the contribution management department for the mail and e-commerce products. The post holder is responsible to make best use (Contribution/load factor) of assigned capacity on flights, to follow up on agreed traffics and to monitor their performance with respect to show up and contribution in order to detect deviations from plan and to communicate with the sales organization about capacity and rate related issues.

Your Duties

* Evaluate Capacity & Pricing requests for the products mail & ecommerce
* Steer mail traffics in order to optimize contribution and usage of assigned capacity on flights ex hub
* Follow up on agreed traffics and ensure a production according to plan
* Prepare capacity steering inputs for biggest customers
* Plan and support backlog handling in the hub - take corrective actions and communicate to relevant stakeholders
* Ensure available capacities are used according to plan by handling partner
* Maintain relevant production data and create management reports
* Interface to handling partner for capacity related topics
* Proactively communicate and support outside sales organization especially with regard to pricing and capacity
* Evaluation and 1st level decision making for acceptance of Airmail and eCommerce traffics
* Monitoring and quality control of Airmail and eCommerce production
* Ensure that data is delivered in a quality required to perform tasks

Requirements

* Bachelor degree (University/FH) in economics, business administration or similar education, or Commercial diploma and a minimal of 3 years of relevant work experience
* Knowledge of Aircargo, Logistics, Contribution-/revenue management
* Work experience in Air Cargo, Revenue Management, Sales, Network or Finance is an advantage
* Fluent in English, German is an advantage
* Excellent communication & interpersonal skills in multicultural environment
