Loganair operates a comprehensive network of scheduled and charter flights around the United Kingdom, but predominately in Scotland.  The company continues to grow and develop and it now has around 650 members of staff, in various departments, including, Engineering, Flight Operations, Ground and Customer Services, Safety and Compliance, Commercial, Finance and Operations.  We have stations throughout the United Kingdom, including: Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen, Norwich, Kirkwall, Sumburgh, Wick, Stornoway, Sumburgh, Campbeltown, Barra, Benbecula, Tiree and Islay.

Applications are invited for a newly created position of Airworthiness Records Officer with the Part M Engineering team.

The role requires an individual who has a can-do attitude, working as part of a small team, with an excellent eye for detail, able to work to defined high standards and keep the virtual aircraft records up-to-date. 

This position involves the daily processing of large amounts of technical information from the Aircraft’s Technical Logs & Base Maintenance Work Packages, thought the Engineering OASES system. You will also ensure that any components changed or any maintenance activities accomplished are correctly captured, recorded and stored for future forecast and traceability purposes. 

The AWR team co-ordinate the printing and paperwork support of all the Base Maintenance work packages to a prescribed standard.  It also further supports the base checks, by ensuring that the Aircraft Technical Logs are serviced during each of the aircrafts routine base inputs.

The AWR team are responsible for the storage of each aircraft’s historical maintenance records, within an off-site storage facility.  This requires the retention of of key certification documents to evidence on-going compliance. 

The successful candidate should have a good working knowledge of OASES system and experience on the Micro Soft Office suite, but full ‘on the job’ training will be provided.  He or she should be able to demonstrate the ability to identify areas needing attention, prioritize daily needs and work speedily towards a solution under minimum supervision.
